Yoru paused at the mouth of the cave smelling blood, her sharp gold hues finding a very large black male inside her den. For territorial reasons she lifted her tail though did not bare her fangs at the trespasser. "Your hurt" She said walking up to him, sniffing at his mounded paw. "You shouldn't be walking on that, it will only get infected" She said and walked pass him. "You may stay...there's not another shelter for a few miles, and a storm is coming in" She said and laid down, her eyes focusing on him. Usually wolves never looked one another in the eyes, Yoru however didn't break eye contact.
She looked him over, he was really well built, and he was very large even for a wolf. "My name is Yoru...whats yours?" She asked trying to make conversation. She would have to be carefull. Mating season was around the corner, and a lone wolf or not she had to make sure who ever courted her was worthy, they had to be stronger than her. She couldnt just let any wolf she met mount her weather he looked strong or not.

To be a loner is no fun for a wolf, to be an outsider with no pack, no family to help you hunt its the type of lonely life that no one wants to live. But it was the life style that Fell had chosen to prevent his family from falling to the darkness within him. After the death of his beloved sister so many years ago he had abandoned the pack and travelled alone. His large muscular body was covered is raven black fur and his eyes were a bright gold with a hint of green in his left eye. A sign that he had been marked or cursed with a gift that he did not understand nor did he want to understand. Though he was a wolf demon he preferred his true form and hated transforming into the vile form of a human.
The howls of other packs filled the air tonight and Fell wondered if there was some type of strange ritual going on because he could smell the scent of blood miles away. This was unfamilar territory for him but he hoped that the rumors of the black wolf would keep him safe for the time being. He did not wish to fight not with the strange things that had been happening with him. The forest had come alive and the voices of animal that he should not have been able to hear was entering his head and it bothered him. His golden eyes stayed straight ahead as he walked patiently through the forest avoiding the other packs terriroty. That's when he saw her, a wolf with a pure white coat like his sister. He pushed on ignoring her and went on with his business for now it was not wise to confront a female of a hostile pack.
After weeks of traveling and winter approaching the game had become rare the last time he had eaten was when he had come across a fawn that had ventured away from its mother it was not fat enough to fill him but it did give him enoug energy to keep going. As he ventured through the terrain he had managed to cut the pad of his right foot on a sharp rock and was bleeding badly. He had to hurry and find a place to rest so that his injury could heal and not becom einfected. Coming upon a cave that smelled of humans and faintly of a wolf he entered not expecting for someone else to come. Resting his heavy head on his paw he licked his wounded paw softly and whimpered. A snare appeared upon his face as he smelled another, a female wolf entering the cave it was her lair but he simply needed a place to rest and hoped that it would not turn into a fight. Certainly she would not fight someone that was so much bigger, or so he hoped wolves were prideful and territoral creatues and he had entered her lair.
Fell stood to his feet and lifted his injured paw into the away and walked slowly towards the mouth of the cave. "Oii.. I was using your cav." He was in no shape to fight even though in this situation he should be hostile but the fact was that he was injured and she was healthy from the smell of it. His golden eyes fixed upon the pure white coat of the beautiful female that was entering the cave. He lowered his paw only to lift it again and whimper softly his tail was lowered to show that he was not going to attack her or become hostile. "It was simply to rest I'll be on my way." Fell's voice was cold and distant but respectful.

"Hey....Kunagi," A voice called. Kunagi turned from where she stood looking out over the water as the sun set near the mountains. She knelt down bowing her head, her gold hues down. "The alpha is looking for you, it's time for the battle...father is expecting a lot from you" The man said. "I know....thank you...Gengi onii-sama..."She said. The litter mates returned to the pack who had gathered around the den, many battles have already been fought to determine the rank of the pack members. Kunagi was the daughter of the alpha...she was expected to rank second to her mother as her brother ranked second to their father.
Hours past, Kunagi laid on the ground exhausted and wounded by the male she had faced. In their wolf forms, he stood over her, his muzzle covered in her blood, his wounds less noticeable on his dark brown colored coat. Unlike her wounds that had slowly soaked her pure white coat into that of a dark shade of crimson. The pack howled for the winner and she was left out, of the celebration. Two days past, her wounds almost healed when she was ordered to approach the council. "Kunagi, daughter of the Alpha, Gabriel... due to the failure of your last battle and shaming the strong royal bloodline with this failure, you are to be exiled from the pack." The elder of the council said. "But my lord...My mind was else where, I was not concentrating" Kunagi pleaded afraid of their decision. "Kunagi Tenrou...as of tonight when the moon is highest in the sky, you are banned form this territory" The elder said. "Kunagi...you need to go" Gengi said looking at her.
Kunagi walked past the territory line looking back with tears in her eyes, she had disgraced the royal blood within her, now she had to train and grow stronger so she could return to the pack, challenge the one who beat her...and kill him. She looked down as she turned and walked into the forest disgaurding her name, as well as her bloodline. She wouldn't need her out in the world.
A few weeks past, tough weeks but she was getting by. She had adopted the name Yoru, giving out that name to the village people when she entered their town for food. The moon was rising and she was heading back to the abandoned cave that she had come to call home for now, She walked into some bushes fazing into her wolf form before heading into the cave not knowing someone else had ventured in.
