Candra walked through the streets of the small dim town she and her pack lived in. News said it was to start snowing soon. Candra could smell it in the air. Her multi colored eyes looked up, their strong gaze locking onto an old couple who eyed her carefully as she passed. They looked away seeing her gaze. She always won staring contests among the humans...they never seemed to hold their stair for very long. Such weak creatures. She turned into an allyway and walked down, her stride was gracful and fluid, her footsteps unheard on the gravle. She glanced over her shoulder before opening the door to a building and walked in, sheding her coat and hung it on a chair before she walked past another door entering a small bar, bodies already on the floor. "Candra...whats new?" The bar tender asked, his short brown hair had been spike up, she could smell the gel in his hair. "Same as usual" She said taking a seat and looking out to the dance floor seeing some of her cousins dancing among the humans. "See anything you like Candra?" The bar keep asked. "I'm only here to relax Luke" She said. Luke chuckled and went to serve a customers. She looked up at the tv, her sensitive ears picking up on the low volume. Candra watched the news about the upcoming snow storm that was about to hit the area. Candra smiled, excited at the thought to be able to run on the freshly fallen snow. "So, have you heard the rumors? Of a vampire heading this way?" Luke asked. Candra blinked. "A vampire?" She asked. She had personally never seen one. Her pack was a laid back one, they did not have a problem with vampires so long as they respected their territory and hunted outside the packs boundary lines. "Just be carefule Candra...dont let your curiosity get to you too much" Luke said. "Curiosity only killed the cat Luke....we arent cat's we're smarter" She said with a grin
A man sat a few stools next to her at the bar with a heavy sigh. He took off his beanie, revealing short black hair. His pale skin almost matched the white seat he was on.
He waited in silence for the bartender to stop speking before beconing him over. "An orange juice spiked please." he said.
"Ah, of course" Luke said just notaicing the the man. Candra looked to her side her multi colored eyes finding the man, he seemed a little more pale than normal. "You new around here?" She asked looking at him as Luke handed him set down his drink and handed Candra her own drink. His scent was different as well, she couldnt help but sair at him
HIs pale gray eyes met her two tones for a moment.
"Revisiting." he clarified. "it been a few years."
He thanked Luke as he reached out and took his drink, paying the bartender. His mind seemed elsewhere.
He sipped his drink and looked to Luke. "No chance youve seen a guy with long black hair have you? He's got a gray streek in the front."
Apparently the new arrival was looking for a friend.
[YOUR GO! ^_^]
