HeartBeat in my Head!

As they approached the house Aequum slow and let Sin down to walk for herself. If her mother saw them running back to the house she might think that something was wrong, however there was but they didn't want her to know that. "I think tomorrow we should go to the 'library' and check out this guy. He's defiantly not human" Aequum nodded his head as they walked into the house "And where have you two been" "Just out on a walk" "Sure, I want you two to go get washed up" Sin nodded his head and they headed out of the kitchen.

Houzoi shrugs his shoulders as she speaks and walks away from him, he still had a wide grin upon his face like he had things planned for her though he had none at all. "You say you don't care what I do huh..." He rubbed his chin and vanished after watching the two head back to the house. "My fun maybe over for now but I'll find another way to have fun with her. There's so may ways to mess with her weak mind but it'll have to be so much diffrent method to drive her crazy. The only reason she was able to see him now was because he allowed her to see him or so he thought. He frowned as he hoverd over her house. "What if.. no that can't be possible."

((It's cool you don't really need to explain what happened. I understand stuff happens and of course I will continue to rp with you.))

Sin wasn't sure if she was ready to play his games though Aequum was ready to play any game that he could throw at them. "I don't care what you think, what you do. Just stay out of my life and leave me alone. I don't want to play any of your games" She turned around and started back towards the house. Aequum glared at the guy then turned and caught up with Sin, he grew to a reasonable size and pick her up to put her on his back. They would get back to the house faster if he was the one walking and not her. No matter what he tries I will be here to take care of it he told her. She patted the top of his head "I know"

ooc: I'm sorry about such a delay. I'm sorry that I fell off the face of the earth. Several horrible things got in the way. From my deranged ex breaking into my house (don't really want to go to much into this one. It still hurts), to finals at school to my gradma passing away. Again I'm sorry and I hope that you would still like to rp with me.

Houzoi raised his eyebrow at Aequum's reaction and it was exactly how he wanted it to happen the more they reacted to his insults the more fun it was for him. "I only healed her from a severe head injury if I messed up your little connection then Ithink it was much better than her dying in a car." He says watching the creature with a broad smile. "I say Sin is a very weak minded girl if I can read her thoughts easily as I have been doing." He never moved just looked at the pair very interested in what was being said. He had never heard of such a thing and it was very interesting he didn't really care who Aequum was but he knew for certain he wouldn't be able to kill him.

"Let him loose then and we'll see who kills who first." Houzoi said with a smile simple provoking them to see what would happen. "This is getting boring." He says as he sits up and straightens his hair and yawns briefly. "The little game is over now since I've been found out. It was fun while it lasted dontch think?" He didn't want an answer and didn't care to hear what she had to say but he was sure that he wouldn't end his fun so soon he would need to use diffrent skills to mess with her mind.

Sin crossed her arms, she was getting quite fed up with him. He didn't show respect and he never got her name right which was probably on purpose. Sin placed one hand on Aequum's head to calm him down I am not a dog Aequum thought it was strange that the demon could hear him. Usually his powers only worked with Sin and sometimes her mother but a random demon had the power to tap into his telepathy. Sin is not weak minded, it was you who severed our connection wasn't it. You did something to her. What did you do to her? Aequum stomped the ground with his right front paw. He wanted to tear the demon to shreds but unless Sin ordered him to he couldn't touch another living creature.

"You better be careful. Aequum can be touch on certain subjects and he's one to kill first ask questions later" Sin sneered at him "Aequum is one of only a few companion creatures that exist. Aequum is never summoned, he exist at all times. He just comes to me when I need him"

"I saved your ass." He says bluntly looking at the girl and raises his eyebrow as she once again called the strange name but this time something appeared but he didn't panic. He examined the creature and smiled it was a brillant looking creature and he would like nothing more than to pet it but he knew better. "Oh yes I'm very real did you thin kyour weak mind could create something as brillant as me?" He asked raising his hand and dropping it back into the grassand rubbing his chin as he examined the girls face. "Well your little friend ruined all my fun know that you know you aren't crazy then there's no point in playing my game." He stretched out in the grass and watched them thinking over what the creature had said. "OH I'm very welcomed in my world doggie I just think it's much more fun playing around with weak minded people like Lin." He says pulling some blades of grass from teh ground and tossing them up in the air.

Houzoi looked over the pair for several moments knowing that it would be pointless to try and waste any energy on them but he was captivated by the creature she called Aequum he didn't know what it was. "Oii what is that thing and how can you summon it?" He asked still out stretched in the grass waiting for her to tell him what he wanted to know if she didn't tell him he'd probe her brain and get the infomation.

"I wasted your time! I don't even know who the hell you are" she screamed at him, she wanted to hit him but she didn't have the strenght to hit him nor deal with any consequences. She stared at him, he wasn't anything like anyone she had ever meet. His eyes trapped her, she couldn't look away from him and his attitude wasn't tasteful. She wondered what he was and just exactally what his purpose was. "My name is Sin not Lin and if you want me to agree to anything you might want to get a better attitude. Aequum!" Sin screamed out and the black and white creature came bounding up next to her.

Yes. Sin looked down at her companions. "What do you make of him?" Sin pointed to the man who sat lounging on the grass. Aequum turned his eyes to the guy, he sniffed at the air. The hair on the nape of his neck rose and he bared his teeth. By now Aequum was the size of a small horse Demon and not a very welcomed one on earth nor his own home. Sin turned to looked at the guy "So you are real. You're a demon, I knew something was up and it wasn't me"

"What did you ever do to me?" He repeated and tapped his chin as his cold deep blue eyes fell upon and he moved alittle closer until he was inches away from her face. "You made me waste my time. That's all." He says tapping her forehead with his cold finger and moving away from her and stretching. "I gave you enough time by yourself. You should have enjoyed it but instead you went on and on about some guy no one else can see but you torturing you. Now everyone knows you're crazy." He says with a wide grin and plops down in the grass and stares at her several moments, his eyes never even flickered to the side as he looked at her. "What's the fun in being able to do what I want with you if I can't play around in this hideous forest? I think it would look much better frozen." He says with a hint of pleasure in his voice as he actually thought about freezing the entire forest and watch everything die.

For a brief moment as he stared into Sin's eye he was thinking that maybe he should leave but the desire to watch her suffer was too much for him and he had to push her some more. "I'll tell you what Lin. If you can beat me in a game I'll let you off the hook and you can go back to your stupid boring human, teenage life." Houzoi's smile broadens as he thinks of his cruel game that they will play if she agrees and if she disagrees he thinks of the next trick he can play on her. "If you lose though this will continue and will become hundred times worse than it is already. What do ou say Lin?" He messed up her name on purpose just to see what she would say and how she would react it wasn't as fun as see terror painted on her face but it was almost as good.

Sin slowed as she came upon the guy she had been seeing for the past several days. "Why do you keep doing this too me? What the hell have I ever done to you" She stopped in front of him, and relaxed against another tree. She was trying hard to catch her breath, her legs started to throb. It wasn't wise for her to run, she could barely walked with out rushing pain throughout her body. He was making her afraid of her forest and she wasn't about to sit by and watch it happen. The forest area was her only escape from everyone and everything of daily life "Could you at least not tourture me here. The forest is the only place I have left that doesn't mock me?" She wondered if she could appeal to some better side of him.

Before the tree had time to react the illusion was over and Sin was running from nothing and of course Houzoi was laughing his ass off. He found her reactions priceless but as she ran he remember that he had not made himself invisble to her. He just watched as she approached him running and he simply waved knowing that she would be able to see. He had to make sure she remembered that he was there and just because he had given her some time by herself didn't mean that he had disappeared and she would never see him again and he was determined to make her pay him back for helping her by getting as much fun as he could out of tormenting her.

Sin remembered back to her childhood, maybe something that her father had taughter her would explain what was going on. She couldn't come up with anything, it would be better if he was still with her. Then she could have at least one person that believed something was tourturing her and that she wasn't going insane. Aequum existed and he was from a different world, so why couldn't there be something that was tourturing her. A demon perhaps, but those have been gone for years now or were they just hiding.

Sin jerked her hand away when someone spoke to her. She blinked her eyes when the tree leaned forward "I-I-I-I'm s-s-s-sorry. I was just....just appreciating y-y-your fine w-w-wood" she tripped over her words. The tree was talking to her and moving. This shouldn't be happeneing, that only happened in moves like the wizard of oz. Things like that in real life just didn't happen. "I-I'm sorry for disturbing you" Sin quickly turned around and started to move away from the tree. Maybe it wasn't real, she had to be hallucinating. No, she couldn't be going insane, not now not ever. All of this wans't possible.

Houzoi followed Sin in the wooded area and watched as she walked and touched the trees he admired her fondness of the forest for a brief moment before he got a crazy idea. He rubbed his hairless chin and created another illusion this time by making the trees talk and act like creatures that could move and speak. The tree in which Sin's hand ran over began to stir and it's large limbs began to move like hands. "Why are you touching me!" The tree bellowed as it pulled it's roots from the ground and it's eyes flickered opened and leaned towards the young human girl

Houzoui watched for a few moments as time seemed to stand still Sin would be wrapped in his illusion until she fell backwards and hurt herself or caused some phsycial pain that was strong enough to break the weak illusion. He didn't want to bring any physical harm to her just have alittle fun so everything he did was weak and just for the joy of seeing her panic. He had wasted his time saving her life so why not have fun with her as a reward for healing her injuries that were life threatening? "This will be great."

Sin moved slowly through the forest vegitation. It had been year since she just took a walk by herself. She use to know this forest like the back of her hand but life got in the way. Her father dissappearing, her recent popularity which is down the drain now because her sudden insanity. The doctor had check her out several times and he couldn't find anything wrong. He had mentioned some perscription pills for her to take that would help her with the knew adjustments but she refused. Even if her mother had said yes Sin would refuse to take the pills and it would just be a waist of money.

Sin stopped for a moments and ran her hand along an oak tree. She was enjoying the feel of the forest around her, the trees didn't question her, they didn't not believe her. She was always able to relax in an open space away from the city and it's people.

A crack of laughter escaped his lips as he too fell on the ground laughing at the effect his illusion had on Sin. He was laughing so hard his side was begining to hurt and when he finally stopped his side was aching. He followed the women into the kitchen and watched her eat and listen to her conversation and smiled even wider. He knew that the woids would be a perfect place to play tricks on her but if wasn't careful he could hurt her and there wouldn't be any fun in hurting her when she could do it for herself. A trickle of remorse shot through him as he thought about what he was doing and it would horrible if he accidently killed her and took this girl away from her mother but it would be hilarous to see her injury herself. He would have to be sure to drive her into insantiy and watch her carefully to make sure everything went well. "I'm such a bad demon." He says to himself as he watches the girl move towards the door and follows her.

Sin had to turn around to grab a sweater her eyes scanned the room one more time and fell over screaming. She closed her eyes trying to get rid of the faces. Her mother came running and dropped to Sin's side. "What's wrong Sin? I knew we shouldn't have pushed the walking just yet" Her mother helped her back on her feets. "I'm find mom. It wasn't that I saw..." her mother eyes her. Sin knew her mom was waiting to tell her that there was no such thing as ghost "I just saw a mouse" Her mother looked at her and started laughing "You freaked because of a mouse" Sin nodded her head and moved into the kitchen.

She sat down and ate a couple pieces of toast. "I'm going to go for a walk in the woods mom, I need some fresh air" Her mother nodded her head and sat down with her own plate of food. "Don't hurt yourself. You are going back to school next weeks and I don't want to hear any complaining out of you. And no ghost or demons are going to get you out of going to school next week monday" Sin rolled her eyes and walked out the back door and down the steps.

Hozoi had avoided pestering the girl after he had followed her back to her house, simply because she took toom uch of his energy and it seemed that the effect of his toture wasn't working as well as it had before. So he waited for several days passing his time by casting illusions on small animals and other people who could see him. He noticed as he hovered over the house that Sin had gotten crutches now. He didn't know why he felt so excited to torment her as he had and the more she tried to tell her mother that he was actually there bothering her the more insane she seemed to become and it was a glorious sight to behold.

On one particular day Houzoi was basking in the sun's strong rays and he heard the sound of voices inside of the house as he often did. He had given her only a few days without his presence and he knew she was becoming anxious. "I guess I can drop for a few moments." He says as he twidles his towards the sun and leans over the roof and watches the movement for a few moments before jumping down and moving into Sin's room where he was sure to find her. He didn't have to stay long to create an illusion but he wanted to see her face when she saw twenty demons that were identical to him in every way popped up out of nowhere. Houzoi's bright blue eyes twinkled for a brief moment and the illusion was created.

She was a little late getting home but before her mother could start yelling at her Aequum jumped into her arms, she nearly missed catching him. Her mother laughed bring a nice smile to her face. It had been months since she saw her mother smile. "It's late. You two need to get to bed" Her mother put Aequum back in Sin's lap.

Sin rolled into the guest bedroom and hugged Aequum "You save me from a lecture. You never cease to amaze me" He smiled up at her and jumped onto the bed. Sin crawled into the bed and under the covers.

Couple of days later

Sin woke early as she had for the past week, she couldn't figure out why. She just shrugged it off and swung her legs over the bed. Things were getting back to some kind of normal. She grabbed the crutches that rested by the bed. Aequum was already up and out of the room by the time she got up. Sin positioned her arms on the crutches and walked out of the room. Thanks to her pestering her mother it only took a week for her mom the crack and take her to physical therapy early in her two week sentence.

Sin wasn't just going to sit around like a physically challenge while she went insane. She knew she had a tendancy to overeact and that got her into to trouble but this guy was one thing she wasn't making up she was sure about it. She tried to tell so many people, it only made them distance themselves from her till she was alone.

Houzoi ignored Sin's remarks and vanished finding it pointless to bother her anymore at this point since his tactic didn't seem to be doing anything now and she was becoming more calm with what was going on so he would need to do something else. He watched from a distance and shrugged his shoulders not seeing much of anything except the back of her wheelshair and her jaw moving in the motion showing that she was talking to something or chewing. "She's boring now I guess I've been around her too much, give it a break and come back later like she." He says shrugging his as he rises into the air and lands back on his cloud of ice. "I'll just take a rest and think about what esle to do later."

ooc: I hate oneliners too! I don't know what to write so I kept it short it'll get longer when they actually start to interact again.

"Pheft..." She continued to roll along ignoring him as much as possible. She was only feet from the intersection and her heart was sinking further into her stomach when she couldn't even feel Aequum near by. "It's an odd coincidence that after what you put me through this afternoon that you just happened to be walking down the same sidewalk that I would be on" Her tone was beginning to be harsher every second he was still around her. She was hoping to god that she wasn't just talking to herself and that she was actually talking to someone or something.

She quickly glanced over her shoulder and he was walking away. She took a deep breath and exhailed. She was thankful that he went away. Dawn searched the intersection, she couldn't feel him. Her heart started racing more. She was starting to get really worried. Dawn cupped her hands around her mouth "Aequum!" She called out, the people close to her looked at her funny but continued on there way. She cupped her hands again and called out. She searched the intersection from the sidewalk. She caught sight of half a white figure. Her breath caught. The light changed and she rushed across the intersection the figure ran toward her and jumped at her. At first sight the figure looked about the size of a great dane but when it landed in her lap it was about the size of a small lap dog. Dawn wrapped her arms around the creature and held it tight. "I missed you. Where'd you go" I don't know, I've been wandering around here for days looking for you. Something happened. Our connection was severed She looked down into the small creatures eyes and knew that he was right. "Come on. Let's go home. The good thing is we're back together now and nothing is going to split us apart again" Aequum laid down in her lap and barried his head. Dawn started back towards her house.

ooc: it's ok. My post will sometimes be short too. Just as long as our posts never get to one line though. That just bugs the hell out of me.

Houzoi looked at Sin as she spoke he could sense the tension rising in her and for some reason he had become interested in watching her as she rolled along the sidewalk as if she were looking for something or someone. The noise he was making came to a stop as his blue eyes moved to the side and then back to her as she spoke. He nodded his head in a agreement to come back and torment her later. He didn't know why but he was tired of following her around anyway. "I was simply walking down the same direction as you it doesn't mean I came to bother you. If I wanted to I would have begun already." He says looking up at the sky and placing his hands into his pockets as he begins to turn the other way but watching her carefully. He had used alot of his energy fooling around with her and now he was just too flat out tired to continue at the moment.

Dawn continued to wheel herself down the street, she figured the best place to start looking for Aequum would be the intersection where she had gotten in her car accident. The streets around her began to slow down for the evening. She heard humming and at first she thought she was the one humming then she realized it wasn't her. She looked around her and saw that guy again. Her breath caught in her throat for a moment then she swallowed. She looked striaght ahead of her "What do you want?" She asked him with malice in her voice. She didn't look at him, she didn't want to.

She kept rolling along. The intersection was coming up soon and she hoped that he would get over with what ever he was going to do to her. She wasn't one to put up with torture for too long before she got pissed off. If she was going insane she wanted to do it in peace. "I'm a little busy right now so if you are intent on torturing me can you come back later"

Houzoi was almost asleep when he heard the sounds of the girl's wheelchair and the door of the door shutting he made an attempt to peer over the ice cloud but gave up due to his laziness and rested his head and closed his eyes. "I'll bother her later...she takes too much energy and I'm sure I'll give her a heart attack if I screw around with her in the open like this and her mother is no where to be found." He thought for a moment no matter how much he liked to bug humans that could see him he was not fond of taking children away from their parents he remembered how his mother looked at him after she had found out he was not dead and how much she creid. He wondered how much she cried when she thought he was gone... Shaking his head he frowned and watched as the human girl wheeled herself out of the front gate and into the open.

He hopped down and began walking behind her whistling a soothing tone he wanted to get her attention. He wanted her to know he was following her to see her reaction but before she could do anything stupid out of fear her would rescue her again and bring her back home but not with her concious she would be under his illusion or some other power he possessed. He could put her to sleep with his telepathic powers she she was so weak mentally and she wouldn't remember anything until he showed up in her room or in the house to taunt her or make fun of her to get her to go insane and then he would leave again just to do it all over again.

An hour slowly ticked by. She was fed up with just lieing there, she swung her legs over the side of the bed. The sudden movement made her wince in pain, she took a couple of deep breaths. She pulled her wheel chair over to herself. She gripped the arms of the chair and slid into it. She almost missed the seat. Her heart pounded feverishly. "Ok, get a grip. You are just expirencing some post dramatic stress" she told herself but she also rolled her eyes. She believe herself the moment she started saying it. She wheeled over to the closet and pulled out the first jacket her hands touched. She wheeled herself out into the living room, her mother sat there with a thick medical book in her hands.

Dawn wheeled past her mother, she almost got to the door with out her mom knowing but her chair gave her away. The wheele hit a squeeky board in the floor "And where do you think you are going young lady?" Her mother stood over her with her hands on her hips. "Um....just going for a roll mom. I'll be back in an hour or so" Her mother eyed her. She looked like she was going to say no but Dawn pleaded with her eyes. "Alright. Only an hour and don't go too far. Do you have..." "A coat, yes. I have my cell too. I'll be fine mom" "Alright. No..." "Walking. I know mom" "Don't give me attitude or i'm not letting you go" "Sorry mom" Her mother gave her a kiss on the forehead and opened the door for her.

Dawn wheeled down the ramp and was already past the front lawn gate in no time. She was glad to finally be out of the house and away from her mother and who ever or what ever was tourturing her in that house.

Houzoi was lost in his own amusement as he watched her panic and drive herself into more panic as she covered her ears and said a strange name. He ran it over a few times in his mind and wondered if it was a pet of some sort but he listened carefully to what was being said and shrugged his shoulders. He watched the girl's face and a bit of remorse came over him and he left the room he would allow her to rest now. She'd fall alseep and when she woke up she'll think it was all a dream he'll let a few days pass before coming back to bug her that way it'll be more entertaining, he watched her mother for a few moments. He found all human's unattractive and this one was no diffrent . He had found some features appealing like her eyes and hair but that was it to him human's were an ungly bunch of creatures but fun to toy with.

Houzoi left the house and rested on a cloud made of ice that hovered in the sky he missed his home and began to felt annoyed that this had happened but he would make up for it very soon. "I wonder if I gave the little human girl a fever? I should have cooled her down or something and then got her all worked up again." He laughed before going on. "I'll let her rest for a bet and get her to freak out at school that'll be the highlight of my day!"

She was dozing, almost on the verge of falling asleep then his words found her. She closed her eyes tightly and brought her hands up to her ears. "You're not really here. I'm not going to listen to you, I won't listen to you." Sin started humming, she tried to get the image of his face out of her mind. "Aequum!" Sin screamed out for his companion. That was the only thing she knew that would keep her sane. She didn't feel him enter the room "Aequum!" She tried again, and again he didn't come "MOM where's Aequum? MOM!" Her mother seemed to get rid of what ever was doing this do her. Her mother came running into the room "Honey what's wrong? You should be sleeping" Sin kept her eyes closed, this could be just another trick of her mind "Where's Aequum?"

Her mother looked around, there was no one else in the room. Aequum usually appeared when you called his name "Sweetie I don't know. Maybe since the accident....maybe he's..." "Don't say it. He can't be. He's my companion for life, those are the ruled aren't they. I mean he was with you for your whole life then you had me and he became mine. Why isn't he here? I need him mom" Her mother stoked her head. "Sweetie your burning up. Let me go get you a cold rag. Everythings going to be fine. Just give him a couple of days and he'll be back, he doesn't stay away for too long" Her mother left the room. Sin placed her pillow of her head.
