The Real Folk Blues Part II

Asa smiled and returned the kiss before resting her head on his shoulder. "Hmm I'm a little tired too so we can skip the movie. I'll give you a backrub though how about that?" She asked. She hadnt given him one in awhile. She lead him to bed and had him lay down on his stomach after she had removed his shirt. She straddled his waist and started to massage the knots out of his back, for about a half hour before she rolled to his side and reached over turning off the light. She curled up beside him wrapping her arm around him. "Hmm...life seems too perfect right now. I still acnt believe work is giving you this vacation, though you have been working there for over two years now...maybe they figured you deserved it" Asa murmered. She hadnt thought much of his not working much but she was enjoying it. It was keeping life easy for her right now, very much less stress filled. "Hm...love you Spike" She said softly and gave him another soft kiss, sliding her tongue over his lips

Spike nodded and took Jessica into her room. She didn't even notice that Spike had picked her up. He smiled softly and placed a kiss on her forehead before doing the same for Jet. Shortly after Spike walked into Asa and his room kicking off his slippers. He smiled softly wrapping his arms around her and kissing her softly. "Jessica's movie actually drained the life out of me, but I'm up for a movie." he smiled. Spike wasn't bothered at by the fact that their sex life had to be put on hold. All he wanted was for her to be healthy. The kids needed her and so did he. "So love what would you like to watch?"

The bathroom door opened, Asa had a towel wrapped around her having finished hers and little Jet's bath. She held him in her arms as she walked out. "She fall asleep?" She asked leaning over and saw that Jessica had passed out. "He's almost ready for bed too, She can take her's tomorrow" Asa said with a soft smile. She had been through alot in her life, Spike was the best thing to ever happen to her. Having his kids was even better. Bring her into the room and put her to bed while I get Jet dressed." She whispered softly while turning and walking into the kids room. She set Jet on his bed and got out his pj's and briefs helping him put them on. "Mommy I want to do it" He said. "Shh, mommy's doing it tonight, you can tomorrow alright" She said lightly. "Alright, goodnight sweatheart, love you" She said and gave Jet a kiss goodnight then walked over giving Jess a kiss on her forhead and whispered goodnight. Once the kids were in bed Asaya walked to hers and Spike's room, taking off the towel to dry her hair. She walked to the dresser and put on an oversized t-shirt and some panties and streached her arms up over her head before walking over to Spike and hugged him. "Hmm, what should we do tonight hon? watch a movie or go to bed?" Asa asked. Before she had been hospitalized Spike and Asa's sex life was still healthy, the past five days since she's been out have been mostly affectionate kisses and cuddling. She had to be ready to see the doctor in the next two days for her checkup after all.
